At ASC, our mission is to positively impact educational and career opportunities by empowering organizations to make better assessments with AI and easy-to-use software.
We have an opening for an occasional, part-time contractor to review high stakes exam questions. This opportunity is not open to international candidates. The questions are based on math, quantitative, and logical reasoning topics. You will be assigned a group of items to review, and you will edit the items and report any issues you find. The work happens every 6 weeks or so, with about 20 hours each time.
These items are for a post-secondary admissions exam, thus the questions are more about interpreting tables of data and solving complex equations, rather than standard K-12 math curriculum. Candidates must be comfortable solving these kinds of questions and giving feedback on improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in math, data science, finance, or other quantitative subject.
You must live in the USA for this position.
Preferred
Experience with exam development and assessment
Experience with post secondary admissions exams
Compensation: $30-40/hour
