About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Copyeditor to join our team. This position requires a professional with exceptional editing abilities and a passion for delivering polished and precise content. As a Copyeditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of materials for test development programs and other projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Proofread, format, and copy edit a variety of documents with meticulous attention to detail.
- Edit and write content specifically for test development programs, adhering to project guidelines.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in grammar, punctuation, and style, with a strong grasp of Associated Press (AP) style and familiarity with APA style.
- Collaborate with writers, subject matter experts, and project teams to maintain high-quality standards.
- Utilize strong computer skills to work efficiently with G Suite, Microsoft Office, and other software tools as needed.
Qualifications
- Exceptional writing, formatting, proofreading, and copy-editing abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in editing and writing for test development programs.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy.
- Superior knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style and experience with APA style.
- Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- A Bachelor of Arts in English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- At least two years of professional copy editing experience.
- Target compensation for this position is $25 -30 per hour.
This position is ongoing and operates on a project-by-project basis as needed.

Expected Hours of Work
This is part-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT. Some hours outside this range are possible because of international clients.
